Programme 2020 is being refined due to the virus situation

We were definitely lucky. A new resort has now opened with huge freeride and ski touring opportunities that we could only dream of. The region is in a place that is unique in every way - Georgia. More precisely in Svaneti, its highest mountainous part. This is the reverse side of Main Caucasus Range, its southern slopes which take the main snow load.

There are a lot of antiquities around. Fabulous Colchis!

Everywhere the food is simple yet incredibly tasty. Cheeses, khachapuri, meat pies, cherry tortillas etc - real village food made for us. If you have any food preferences, tell us and we will talk to the hosts. Georgia on the other hand!

In terms of the amount of snow, the region is roughly like Krasnaya Polyana. Higher, however, and that means maximum chance of liquid precipitation turning into solid precipitation, unlike KP. Winter is short - but what a winter!

In Sheregesh we often have powders, and often not sunny. In this case we first roll out the forests and glades! At the same time we will show you all the tasty places of the resort =)

A reminder that all our instructors are certified according to the ISIA Austrian method up to B-category. However, our methodology is a symbiosis of the Austrian system and our signature exercises, which will benefit you as a freerider.

"The golden fleece" of freeride is definitely here, and we are its "Argonauts".

We can take it with us, we can keep it - it's up to us.

We will live in an authentic Svan house. There will be two or three people in each room. For girls, separate rooms. The house and hosts always leave us all pleasant and warm. But if you want to live in a 4* hotel, it's not far and it's solvable.

Extended avalanche training is compulsory on the programme. There's no point in spelling it out here, we promise an intensity in terms of avalanche training. You should still have an understanding of the slope as a guide.

Different slopes, different exposures, completely different terrain. Forests as in Polyana, fields as on Elbrus, couloirs as on Cheget. In addition, the special beauty of the southern slopes of the Central Caucasus is difficult to describe in words, it is better to see for yourself.

Lots of freeriding from the ropes, but it is highly desirable to have kamus. Considering that any normal and modern freerider owns them or is in the process of acquiring them, this point seems absolutely normal for us in the 21st century. As a last resort, you can rent one and learn how to handle it.

A beautiful place and before tourists turn it into a branch of Gudauri, you should go now. Last year's reconnaissance showed great potential of the resort, sometimes just looking at the mountains from Google Earth satellite is not enough for that. But you look anyway =)

The programme is structured in such a way as to spend the evening before leaving for Tbilisi and then go home after a rest. Saakartvelo after all!
