This is the ninth season of this school, in the same place, at the same time. No wonder - the conditions there are very good at that time. Learning, improving and off-piste skiing all add up to one picture.
- Main stand
- Predictable slippage on the front edge
- Body-weight assisted turns
- Vertical pivots
- Short pivots
- Large radius turns
- Sweep (not one's own rack)
- Hill skiing
- Riding on broken and unprepared slopes
- Freeride in the woods, features
- Riding on a virgin terrain, special features
- Changes of a rhythm and changing of techniques depending on a condition of a slope
- Line choice
We also prepare individual training programmes if you are not ready to spend a lot of time on the slope. For snowboarders we often add a little 'SURF' style, which looks great in your photos. It's also because we've been a wakesurf coach for many years.
The first half of the day we tighten up our technique .... and go for a snack. In the second half of the day we practice what we've learned on unprepared slopes.
One day we'll have avalanche demonstration sessions - we promise that we'll open your eyes to the whole thing, instead of taking turns picking at the snow. We show you the same skills that we ourselves are taught by foreign instructors in the Russian Mountain Guides Association.
During the School, we videotape the participants twice. In the evening of the same day, in a warm, relaxed atmosphere, we arrange a micro seminar with a breakdown of mistakes and a "how-to" demonstration. We promise it's a lot of fun, especially after a couple of beers, but most importantly - it's very useful for your riding in the future.
Super snowfall happens in Sheregesh. In this case, we first roll out the forests and glades, because trying to show "body weight transfer" in a snowstorm does not seem quite logical to us. Especially, who is going to roll it all out?
The video shows our instructor warming up before work :)
Another special feature of your training is that we will show you the best side of the resort - we will visit all the sectors, help you sort out the mess of the ropes, take you on a ride on all the slopes, show you the sweetest spots for fans of puffy and bottomless snow.
This school is our ninth year in a row :)
